Chesterfield, Virginia—RCG Behavioral Health Network is pleased to announce that it will hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the opening of its newest multi center facility and headquarters building on July 29th, 2022.
RCG Therapy Park grand opening is almost here AND yes, RCG is also turning 10! Since its inception in 2012, RCG has grown exponentially, and RCG Therapy Park was dreamed up as a way to house the majority of our operations under one roof. This campus will allow us to see each other more, to streamline our center based services, and enrich our opportunity to service our community.
While COVID had a huge impact on that vision, it is finally becoming a reality and we couldn’t be more excited to share this moment with you. We would love to have you there with us as we celebrate how far we’ve come. Our entire RCG Community is invited to join in. It is with great appreciation, relief, and excitement that we embrace this next chapter, together.
Recognizing Children’s Gifts (RCG) Behavioral Health Network recognizes the gift in every child with autism by meeting them where they are. With the prevalence of autism spectrum disorders on the rise, there is a great need in our communities to assist individuals with developmental delays, differences in development and/or a diagnosed condition who may need additional resources. RCG provides support with adaptive functioning, communication skills, and social ability across a variety of environments including the client’s home, local community, school and/or daycare settings.
We achieve success with our clients through the implementation of an individualized support plan developed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. We use a data-driven, person-centered approach through the science of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our dedication to excellent services, our commitment to families, and our amazing team is what sets us apart. In addition to client center based and in-home services support, RCG provides customized targeted professional development and resource support for special education staff and building level administrators to reduce special education teacher turnover and increase compliance and academic performance for special education.
We also support young adults through our Life Prep program. RCG’s Life Prep Program is designed for individuals ages 15-20 as they prepare for important and significant transitions in their life. Services take place at the Life Prep Center, an enriched environment designed to teach these important skills, in the community and/ or in the home. The Life Prep Program also offers both individual and group opportunities to address a variety of skill areas.
Although we specialize in serving children with autism and developmental differences, we also offer a robust Speech-Language program that includes the use of AAC devices and telehealth options as well. Our speech-language therapy team can provide speech and language services to children, adolescents, and young adults with many different needs and diagnoses.
This new facility will offer the same amazing comprehensive ABA services that we currently have at all other locations. As we continue to honor our core values which includes providing excellent services to our clients and families, supporting our team members excellence and happiness, and supporting our community, we hope that you are just as excited as we are to share this journey with you all.
At Recognizing Children’s Gifts (RCG) Behavioral Health Network, our mission is to provide top-quality behavioral services to help children reach their highest potential. We are thankful to have a team that is dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each client. We look forward to continuing to provide compassionate, comprehensive behavior analysis services in the Richmond area for years to come. Here at RCG we are “finding the gift in every child with autism”- Sherman Adkins, Owner
