Local Web Strategy Leader Data Directions, Inc. Names Frank Petroski as Director of Strategy and Business Development

Richmond, Virginia

Richmond, VA (March 27, 2024) — Data Directions, Inc. (DDI) announced today that development strategist and local leader Frank Petroski will now serve as the company’s Director of Strategy and Business Development. A well-respected leader in the Central Virginia community, Petroski will be leveraging his deep technological expertise and passions for innovation and collaboration to pursue the strategic vision of DDI’s future.

“Data Directions is an emerging leader in artificial intelligence (AI) and Web3, two areas where Frank excels,” says Mark Creery, DDI founder and President. “Identifying new technologies that could serve our clients has been at DDI’s core for over 40 years, and Frank’s dedication to our clients’ goals combined with his passion for futurist technologies aligns powerfully with this continued pursuit.”

A student of neural networks and artificial intelligence since the 1990s, Petroski began his partnership with Creery in 2021, when Data Directions, Inc. and Midlothian Web Solutions, a web solutions company Petroski founded in 2010, joined forces. This resulted in the formation of WebWare, a complete web solutions service to empower businesses’ online presences through comprehensive development, design, and maintenance offerings as well as leading-edge strategy. Under the DDI umbrella, WebWare’s work continues, and Petroski’s new role enables even greater growth potential for Data Directions.

“For four decades, we have been a leader in custom software and systems integration when solutions can’t be bought off the shelf, or when multiple complex solutions need to be integrated,” continues Creery. “Frank Petroski’s role will galvanize our present and our future. Whatever the technology need, the DDI team can be there, and we’ll continue to be at the forefront of what’s possible.”

Frank Petroski earned his Bachelor of Science from Philadelphia University, majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Management Information Systems, and he earned his Executive MBA from Quantic School of Business and Technology, with specializations including blockchain, data-driven decision-making, and advanced corporate-level strategy. In addition to his work with Data Directions, Inc., Petroski serves as Chair of the Chesterfield County Planning Commission, representing the Midlothian District, as well as a Commissioner for PlanRVA, Director on the Board of the Midlothian Business Alliance, and member of the Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce Government Affairs Committee.
