The Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce is comprised of approximately 670 members and led by a combination of Chamber staff members and volunteer leaders. The Board of Directors, and a smaller group called the Executive Committee, provide broad leadership, direction and decision making for the Chamber. The Board is comprised of the following Chamber members and the President.
Implementation of plans and programs is generally the responsibility of Committees. These Committees are led by volunteer Chairpeople. Committees are comprised of groups of volunteer Chamber members who want to make an impact on the Chesterfield County business community.

Neal Lappe was elected to the Board for a three-year term beginning in January 2005. Neal became Chairman of the Board January 1, 2008. Neal provides leadership throughout the governing Boards and Committees. He coordinates the activities of the Committees to achieve synergy throughout the Chamber as well as leads the Board and Executive Committee in their strategic and decision-making responsibilities. Neal also hosts "Comcast Spotlight," the Chamber's weekly cable television show which profiles member businesses.
Neal is the owner of WSI-Webstrategies, Inc., an internet consulting firm. The success of our website is due in large part to him. Neal has been a Chamber member since 2004 and formerly chaired the membership committee.

Holly Flores was elected to the Board of Directors for a three-year term which ends in 2008. She is a graduate of West Point. As Treasurer, Holly is responsible for all of the accounting functions of the Chamber.

Dr. Josh Shows was elected to serve on the Chamber's Board of Directors in December, 2005 for a three-year term. He is owner of Precision Eye Care in Midlothian. He currently serves on the Government Relations Committee and brings much enthusiasm to our team.

Greg Pearson is the owner, publisher and editor of the Chesterfield Observer, a weekly newspaper in Chesterfield County. Since its founding in 1995, the Observer now has the largest newspaper circulation in Chesterfield County and the second largest newspaper circulation in the Richmond metro area.
Greg moved to Chesterfield County in 1977 and joined the Chesterfield County Chamber shortly after it was started in 1999. Greg serves as Parliamentarian to the board.

Lenita joined the Chamber in June 2005 as Executive Director. Her background in Chamber management in Virginia and North Carolina made her a great fit for the organization.
As President, Lenita is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Chamber and carrying out the strategic plan under direction from the board of directors. Please feel free to contact her with any suggestions you have to help support businesses in Chesterfield County.
